Relevant Experience:

Minimum of 16 years of education in GIS & RS, Geo-informatics, Spatial Data Science, Hazard/NATCat Risk Modeling, GIS Development and Programming, or a related subject. MS/PhD qualifications will be preferable.

Job Description:

Minimum of 16 years of education in GIS & RS, Geo-informatics, Spatial Data Science, Hazard/NATCat Risk Modeling, GIS Development and Programming, or a related subject. MS/PhD qualifications will be preferable.

Minimum of eight to ten years of professional experience, with at least three to five years of industry experience operating data centers or large-scale GIS/RS-based risk assessment projects.

Knowledgeable on GIS/IT/SDI infrastructure, operating systems, setups, and IT applications.

Prior experience operating GIS / Spatial Data Centers for at least 5 years, as well as professional understanding of Web-GIS, Mobile-GIS, AI, and ML applications.

Expertise in Hazard Modeling (Geophysical and Hydrometeorological) with a thorough understanding of related GIS/RS tools and procedures.
Proficient in risk management techniques, business impact assessments, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.
Proficient in Configuration Management to ensure exact control over GIS/IT assets and components.

Proficient in GIS/RS Infrastructure Architecture, Frameworks, and Principles.

Proficient in cloud/virtualization ideas and applications, including security considerations.

Knowledgeable of government, business, industrial, and professional norms, rules, laws, and codes of conduct.

Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality results under pressure and on tight deadlines.

Demonstrates capacity to collaborate effectively with government officials, technical workers, and stakeholders.
