SHRRP
Background:
The Sindh Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (SHRRP) is a
collaboration of all stakeholders working to assist Sindh People's Housing for
Flood Affected (SPHF) with housing reconstruction and settlement recovery.
SHRRP's mission is to ensure that "Flood families live in resilient homes
and communities in Sindh." The SHRRP will assist SPHF with strategic
planning, coordination, and collaboration with national and international
organizations, the corporate sector, and public groups involved in Sindh's
post-flood housing recovery process. The platform will ensure that SPHF-led
technical support and information management are streamlined, disseminated, and
communicated at all levels. Prioritize The primary goal is to develop a
fund-raising strategy and flexible resource mobilization to fill gaps and give
SPHF and partners with the capacity-building support they require.
Job Summary:
You will coordinate the implementation of all day-to-day logistics
activities to ensure all programs and operations have the goods and services
needed when they need them in support of high-quality programs serving the poor
and vulnerable.
Your
knowledge and experience will allow you to coordinate commodity and logistics
needs and challenges and the implementation of solutions, as you apply the
principles of stewardship, integrity, transparency, and accountability.
Roles and
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the supply chain team and necessary programming professionals
to provide logistical services that fulfill pipeline needs. Help identify
supply chain management difficulties and make ideas about how to address them.
Support the implementation of delivery operations from the arrival of goods
in-country (or local purchase point) to the warehouses and then to the final
distribution centers in line with CRS and donor laws, as well as international
and local supply chain standards and needs.
Collaborate and communicate with the
procurement team to ensure that they receive timely purchase requisitions that
include detailed specifications, delivery schedules, and other terms and
conditions, such as labeling, branding, and marking.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to CRS and partner personnel and laborers
to ensure their ability to accurately, consistently, and transparently conduct
commodities logistical processes while adhering to security, safety, and health
regulations.
Help to coordinate and supervise commodity receiving, transportation,
distribution, and disposal activities. Liaise with surveyors, C&F agents,
the Transport Officer, partners, and other parties to ensure that goods are
received and distributed on schedule.
Maintain up-to-date files containing all necessary logistical papers, and
ensure that all supply chain management activities and movements are thoroughly
and precisely documented. Prepare and/or review.
Basic
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in supply chain or a related degree is preferred.
Professional certification(s) in supply chain or related fields are greatly
preferred.
A minimum of three years of expertise in supply chain, logistics, and
procurement management, preferably with an international business.
expertise of political dynamics throughout the chain, infrastructure, market
expertise, and applicable laws and regulations.

Duration: 3
months (Possible extension)
Travel - include percentage of required travel, if applicable. Could be
stated as Must be willing and able to travel up to 30 %.

Preferred Qualifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and
Visio). Experience with commodity tracking systems is an advantage.
