The Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) was registered
under section 42 of the Companies Act 2017 (formerly known as the Companies
Ordinance, 1984) and incorporated on May 29, 2003, as a not-for-profit
organization. The Sindh government provides funding for SRSO to operate in the
province's designated districts. The government has approved this policy in
order to reduce poverty through community empowerment, skill development,
capacity building, development of infrastructure projects supported by the community,
and support for microcredit, enterprise development, and income generation.
The local communities are organized
by SRSO in order to enhance their administrative and technical capabilities.
The government assists the populace in forming partnerships and fostering a
sense of collective ownership. In order to achieve the sustainable development
goals, SRSO works in the following sub-sectors and is currently tasked with
cultivating a network of community organizations at the grassroots level
throughout the province of Sindh.
The goal of SRSO is to reduce poverty by enabling individuals and communities
to realize their own potential and carry out development initiatives.
Research on the methodology and effects on low-income households of the People's Poverty Reduction Programme (PPRP) of the Community Investment Fund (CIF)
Tentative start date:
The examination is tentatively scheduled to begin on September 10, 2024.
Domains
Khairpur, Sanghar, Badin, Thatto, Umarkot, and Mirpurkhas are the six
districts.

It is anticipated that the necessary firms possess expertise in evaluating
development projects, particularly those focused on poverty graduation. The
companies have at least five years of expertise in the field. The company needs
to be NTN-registered and registered. According to the rules and regulations of
the government, all taxes will be applied.

Goals for the study evaluation
The primary goal of this research is
To evaluate the CIF component's performance in reaching its goals and adding to
the program's overall impact in order to record lessons learned for broader
sharing and hold program participants accountable.

The PPRP initiative is currently in its fifth year of execution. A summary of
CIF's development is shown in Table. The sample size must account for no more
than 10% of the second cycle's overall outreach to the recipients listed in the
table below.
